Chapter 194 All for Jasper?

I stood frozen in place, unsure how to face the situation.

The door opened, and the person who appeared in my line of sight was Willa.

“Ms. Sinclair?” Willa was surprised to see someone here at this hour, clearly startled.

I felt a slight pang of disappointment, but also relief. “Willa, it’s you.”

How could I forgotten? Willa came over every afternoon to clean.

“Ms. Sinclair, what’s going on?” she asked, noticing the suitcase in my hand.

I responded calmly, “I’m moving out. Please let Caden know.”

Willa paused for a moment, then tried to ask me to stay. “Ms. Sinclair, aren’t you going to wait for Mr. Holbrook to come home? Whatever’s going on, you two should talk it out. Why move out?”

I shook my head, about to say something, when Jasper appeared at the door.

“Rosaline, are you ready?” Jasper asked, stepping toward me.

“Mm.” I nodded softly.

He took the suitcase from my hand, his gaze softening. “Did you pack everything? Nothing left behind?”

“No,” I replied simply.

He smiled gently and said, “Then let’s go.”

Willa looked on in shock. I stood still and reached into my pocket, pulled out the key, and handed it to her. “Here’s the key to the place. Please return it to Caden for me.”

“Ms. Sinclair, why not give it directly to Mr. Holbrook?” Willa still tried to convince me to stay.

“No need,” I answered, turning and following Jasper downstairs.

The moment I got into the car, looking at the distant door, a sharp pain was felt at my chest.
