Across from me, a stern–looking officer leaned forward, his voice sharp. “Why did you attempt to steal your company’s confidential information? Are you aware that this is considered a crime?”

I shook my head frantically, my voice rising in protest. “No! I didn’t! I swear, I’m innocent! It wasn’t me–it was Wendy from Wild Pack! She forced me to do it!”
