Chapter 445 A Proposal at the Airport

Yura’s POV:

I had already bought my plane ticket. There was still some time before departure, so I sat on one of the benches outside the terminal, waiting.

“Yu!” A familiar voice called out right next to me.

I turned, and to my surprise, saw Ryan standing there.

“Ryan? What are you doing here?” I asked, puzzled. I had been so distracted, worrying about my mom’s illness, that my eyes had been unfocused the whole time–I hadn’t even noticed him.

“I followed you all the way to the airport,” Ryan admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. Then, as if suddenly remembering something, he straightened up, holding a bouquet of flowers in front of me with a serious expression. “Yu, I’m here to propose to you. I know your mind has been a mess these past few days, and you’ve been avoiding me. But I need you to know that I’m serious. Marry me. Be the future Luna of the Storm Pack.”

Passengers waiting for their flights had turned their attention toward us, some curious, others surprised. A few young werewolves in the crowd even started cheering and whistling.

I had never experienced a moment like this before–or rather, I had imagined it. However, Timothy had always been the one making the proposal in those fantasies.

I pressed my lips together, meeting Ryan’s burning gaze. Then, I shook my head slightly. “Sorry, Ryan. I don’t want to talk about this right now. And besides, whatever happened between us–it was an accident. I -I don’t have feelings for you.”

Ryan’s face instantly fell. Seeing his dejected expression, the crowd lost interest and began to disperse.
