Chapter 456 Are We Still Friends?

Rosaline’s POV:

+8 Pearls

“Alright, everyone, great work today. Let’s call it a wrap and head home to rest,” I said, clapping my hands to signal the end of the shoot.

I’d been keeping my eyes on the progress all day. The director gave a subtle nod, and I quickly checked the playback to ensure everything was fine. Satisfied, I called it a day.

The actors let out collective sighs of relief and made their way to the lounge to pack up. Naomi approached me with a polite smile. “I’ll be heading out now.”

Since there was no scene with Jasper in the afternoon, his absence made the day feel lighter.

After the online chaos Jasper had stirred up, I couldn’t shake the awkwardness. It had been days since we’d had a real conversation. Outside the set, our exchanges were almost nonexistent.

I snapped out of my thoughts and returned Naomi’s smile. The progress she’d made on set was hard to ignore. If she kept at it, she’d be a star in no time.

“Alright, take care and get some rest. You earned it,” I said warmly.

The actors trickled out one by one, and I let out a sigh of relief. Pinching the bridge of my nose, I stood, stretched, and made my way home for some much–needed rest.

The next morning, just as I finished washing up and was about to throw on my jacket to head to set, my phone buzzed from the shoe rack.

“Hello?” I said, slipping on my shoes and grabbing the phone.

It was Caden.
