Only her suitcase remained, abandoned at the doorstep next to a bunch of wilted flowers, their petals scattered and color faded, a poignant reminder of what was lost. Robin stood there, dazed, coming to the harsh realization that it was truly over between him and Sophia.

After leaving Robin's place, Sophia wandered the chilly streets alone for quite a distance before remembering she had forgotten her suitcase. But the mere thought of the recent ordeal filled her with such repulsion that she preferred to leave her belongings behind rather than return.
