Chapter 5511 “Remember this lesson!"
Keegan stepped forward, then kicked Kurtis to the ground.
"You should just stay away from Madam Kairi and Consultant York in the future.
"You better thank Consultant York for only breaking your leg. If not, I would’ve gotten people to carry a coffin here by now!”
Keegan’s calm words made Kurtis instinctively shiver. He knew that his biggest support was a man of his word.
Chanse and the others had goosebumps after hearing those words.
They finally understood that the underworld was a ruthless and decisive place.
Harvey didn’t seem too bothered by this, though. He knew Keegan was just making a statement in front of him. Kurtis’s incident had nothing to do with him, after all.
Kurtis kept banging his head on the ground after hearing those words.

"Thank you, Madam Kairi! Thank you, Consultant York!
"Other than to apologize, I came to prove my innocence as well!
“I’m a perverted man, but I'm not stupid either!
“I only acted that way because Chanse gave me a hundred and fifty dollars. He also promised that the government's enforcers wouldn’t show up in the old town!
“He wanted me to take advantage of Madam Kairi... And told me that nobody would know about it either! He told me I could threaten Madam Kairi to be my woman, too!
“I was blinded by the benefits! Madam Kairi was just too beautiful!
That was the only reason I did everything...
"This was everything that happened!"
Kurtis was filled with rage.
He wasn't stupid; other people would probably accuse him of something more if he decided to take full responsibility.
But after revealing everything, the hatred toward him would probably go to somebody else.
More importantly, his limbs were mostly broken after suffering such humiliation. He wouldn't have an outlet to vent his anger if he continued letting Chanse act so high and mighty.
“Enough of this slander!"
Chanse’s face darkened, and he screamed in anger.
"We don't even know each other! Why would I pay you money to go against Madam Kairi in the first place?”
