Kurtis pulled out his phone, and played a recording with a trembling hand. It was the phone conversation between him and Chanse.
No matter how sharp Chanse's tongue was, he had no way of refuting the situation anymore.
Kairi’s eyes turned cold. "A government official, yet you work with outside forces to harm your superior ... What a heinous man you are, Chanse!"
Harvey glanced at Capri.
“It's time for you to do your job, Director Capri. If you don’t give US an explanation for the situation...
You won't get to keep your position for long!”
Capri's eyes twitched. Inwardly, she cursed Harvey.
If Dragon Cell was involved, Chanse would probably get a chance to live... But making her take care of the situation would mean that the John family had to butt in.

Handling the situation publicly would turn away the government officials and their families.
However, playing favoritism would give Harvey and Kairi’s people a chance for to take over the John family through the government.
No matter what she chose, Capri would be in the wrong.
She instinctively looked at Damon, not giving Harvey a reply.
Damon stepped forward righteously, and kicked Chanse to the ground.
“What are you waiting for?” he exclaimed coldly.
“Get this man behind bars right now! We need to deal with the situation. We need to do it fairly, and open to the entire public. Let everyone know that the government’s still fair and just!”
Despite Damon’s righteous front, Harvey could see the man's hands clenching together. Damon was furious.
After the situation was handled, Keegan stepped forward. He handed Harvey a contract respectfully.
“This is the relocation agreement, Consultant York," he said.
“Aside from Kurtis, other representatives have signed the paper as well. We’ll follow the government’s original conditions. The representatives said that we'll cooperate with the project. We’re excited for what happens next.”
Harvey frowned, thinking that it was all a little too easy. "Did you threaten them?”
“I wouldn't dare!”
Keegan shook his head.
