The extended Land Rover was very spacious; even with eight people inside, it wasn’t crowded at all. The car slowly moved after everyone was properly seated.
Lennon brought over a laptop from the passenger seat and protected the documents on the car’s screen.
"The road to the Aenar Temple won’t be smooth sailing, everyone," he said with a smile.
“According to our information, at least a dozen forces will be stopping us.
"But we have people from the four great tribes, the Wolven Tribe, and the top ten families among others... With your support, these bandits will surely leave empty-handed."
Rhodes froze. "Didn’t I already allow you to use my name, Mr.
Lennon? Who would dare go against you?"

Julie chuckled coldly. "Going against my junior would mean going against the Kronen Temple!"
Lennon looked deeply at Rhodes, then turned his gaze toward Julie.
"There’s something you don’t know, Maiden Julie, Young Master Rhodes,” he said, still smiling.
"The people coming for the beads aren’t just ordinary bandits from the border.
“According to my information, America, the Island Nations, and India have sent their forces here as well. They aren’t hiding it, either.
"Many forces from the country, the outskirts included, are also coming for the beads. Their goals are unknown, and they have hidden their true identities.
"Your name may scare off some unwanted people, but there are those who'd do anything in their power to get what they want...”
"That’s because they don't know just how powerful my junior is!"
Julie cut him off.
Before Lennon could reply, the driver suddenly spoke up. "Sir! The main road is blocked by trees!”
Lennon frowned. "Someone's trying to stop us again... If we want to get to the Aenar Temple on time, we'd have to take the side lane."
Everyone in the car looked at each other.
Rhodes chuckled coldly.
"Don’t be fooled by this, Mr. Lennon. The best bet is to move the trees and continue forward. After all, those people must be waiting to pounce on us once we change direction.
