Chapter 3 Lady Red

Asanel was in her room, crying heartily. She still couldn't believe her dad was gone. Her dad was really no more. Even when she saw his body, she didn't believe it.

The door opened and her mum walked in.

"Sweetheart.." Matilda called and Asanel wiped off her tears.

Matilda smiled sadly and sat beside her.

"I know how painful this is but it has happened, your dad is no more.." Matilda said and Asanel nodded with tears dropping from her eyes.

Her dad and her were not too close but they still sweet moments together. He would do all he could to fulfil her wishes.

"Mum, what's the result of the investigation?" Asanel asked.

"It was concluded that it's robbery. At that your dad passed by, armed robbers attacked him from nowhere. They took his car, phone and money. Everything he had on him but then they shot him to death.." Matilda explained and Asanel furrowed her brows.

"Since they got what they wanted. What was the need of killing him..." Asanel said in tears.

"It's planned. I'm very sure it's not an accident. The Madison's are involved in this. Moreover, your dad told me they had something to do with the rape case. He found evidence but it's all gone.." Matilda said with clenched fists.

"Asanel, I promise, I'll make them pay for it." Matilda said and hugged her daughter.
