Chapter 342 True Cacodemon

Even though the cacodemon was smiling, Jonathan and Mabel felt their heart wrench.

Of course, they were aware that the cacodemon was trying to put them at ease.

Even though the cacodemon wasn't a human, it had been sincere and kind to them.

Galad remained silent with a cold expression.

Regardless of how angry Jonathan and Mabel were, they couldn't halt the cacodemon's mistreatment.

Peering at Jonathan coldly, Galad spat, “You'd better not ramble again. Otherwise, I'll give you a bucket of it, too.”

“F*ck you!” roared Jonathan. At that point, he didn't care about dying anymore.

Back then, he submitted to Edward for a chance to live. He endured the humiliation because he needed to live on and pay his humiliation back with blood.

At that moment, he was angry at Galad for degrading the cacodemon. He was aware that he was going to die regardless, so he immediately displayed his fiery personality without holding back.

Galad peered at Jonathan frigidly and uttered, “Very well. Kneel down and drink this bucket of pig feed for the cacodemon, then. I want you to lick it clean.”

Jonathan laughed. “You may kill me, but do you think you can force me? Let me tell you something. No one can force me to do anything!”

“Is that so? I'd like to give it a try.”

With an icy look, Mabel shielded Jonathan with her body. “Perhaps you can kill me first.”

“Go away!” Jonathan shouted. I don't want a woman to stand up for me!

Immediately, she sensed his stately aura. She shuddered and stepped aside.

Then, she started preparing a terrifying energy attack. She didn't care if Galad's spiritual imprint would explode in her mind.

Meanwhile, Galad could sense a fierce aura emanating from Mabel and Jonathan.

The cacodemon threatened, “You can insult me, but you can't insult my daddy! If you do, and I survive, I'll kill a hundred thousand people! You'd better etch my words into your memory. Originally, I had no intention of killing anyone or any interest in Thymionians. You were the one who caused all this to happen. Just remember that you're the reason for countless deaths in the future.”

“How dare you threaten me, beast!” snapped Galad.

He was a proud and stubborn holy master. If someone spoke to him nicely, he might consider a negotiation. However, he would counter a threat whenever he received one.

However, Jonathan, Mabel, and the cacodemon were too stubborn to humble themselves and plead for their lives.

In fact, if Mabel and Jonathan begged for mercy, it was likely Galad would've spared them.

Sadly, Mabel was too headstrong to do that, even if a blade was placed next to her neck.

Jonathan was the same, especially because he hated Galad for torturing the cacodemon.

The cacodemon gazed at Galad with resentment.

In response, Galad sneered and asked a lama to put a bucket of pig feed in front of Jonathan. “Are you going to do it?”

Jonathan barked, “Like h*ll I will!”

“Very well!” Suddenly, Galad stepped forward, grabbed Jonathan's head, and pressed it into the bucket.

Mabel immediately sent a kick flying toward Galad because she couldn't allow him to degrade Jonathan like that.

Her kick had a name, which was known as the Scorpion Attack. It was silent but quick.

Galad didn't even glance at Mabel. If a kick like that could take him out, he wouldn't have the title of holy master.

At that moment, Mabel felt as though a nail had drilled into her brain, causing her extreme pain. Promptly, she fell to the ground, hugged her head, and shrieked in agony.

It was obvious from her scream that the pain was unbearable.

Meanwhile, Galad continued to press Jonathan's head into the pig feed.

The cacodemon howled furiously but could do nothing.

To Galad's surprise, he couldn't press Jonathan's head into the water.

When he used Force, he could hear the sound of bones cracking.

Immediately, he was aware that if he continued to use Force, he would snap Jonathan's neck.

Galad was stunned by how dogged Jonathan was. While I may kill someone like him, I mustn't humiliate him.

Edward was the only person who successfully degraded Jonathan, which was why the latter would never forget about the episode nor forgive the former.

Back then, Jonathan told himself he would rather die than endure another humiliation of that degree again.

Upon releasing Jonathan, Galad turned to the cacodemon. “Since he isn't willing to eat it, you do it instead.”

The cacodemon nodded calmly before eating it.

Jonathan could barely lift his head as he turned his reddish eyes toward the cacodemon with great effort.

Meanwhile, Mabel had returned to her senses and watched the cacodemon eat the pig feed with Jonathan.

At that moment, the cacodemon did seem like a dog tamed by Galad.

Tears welled up in Jonathan's and Mabel's eyes.

The cacodemon swiftly finished eating the pig feed and licking the buckets clean.

After that, it raised its head and stared at Galad. “Are you satisfied?”

In response, Galad just left the alchemy room without saying a word.

Mabel waited until Galad was out of sight before approaching Jonathan and healing his neck.

Once she was done, he twisted his neck a little and returned it to its normal state.

He exclaimed in a trembling voice, “Cacodemon!”

The cacodemon turned to Jonathan with a frigid look before it abruptly smiled and replied, “I'm fine, Daddy.”

Jonathan and Mabel felt as though the cacodemon was sneering at them, though they weren't sure why.

Meanwhile, the demonic energy on the cacodemon was getting stronger, as though it was speedily metamorphosing into a true cacodemon without realizing it.

Jonathan tried to wipe the cacodemon's mouth clean with his sleeve, but it dodged reflexively. Smiling, it used its hand to wipe its mouth clean. “I'm feeling a little tired, Daddy. I want to sleep.”

In response, he lowered his hand and squeezed out a grin. “Come and sleep in my embrace, then.”

It nodded before doing just that.
