Chapter 343 Wretched The Great

The cacodemon's cells mutated wildly. Its wounds healed rapidly, and its body became stronger.

Then, it swung the mithril chain in its hand, somehow generating a wave of fire in the air that reeked with the smell of metal.

The mithril chain flew toward Galad like a rocket.

Jonathan and Mabel backed away because they couldn't defend against the power in that attack.

On the other hand, Galad remained unmoved.

A cold look flashed past his eyes before he unleashed Zentrum Fyeor primordial spirit seal.

Golden light zipped through the air before Zentrum Fyeor appeared before him. The primordial spirit immediately punched the mithril chain twice and shattered the mithril chain into pieces.

After that, Galad increased the size of Zentrum Fyeor until it was as large as the cacodemon.

The primordial spirit glimmering with gold possessed Fyeor's power.

Thankfully, the alchemy room's ceiling was very tall. Thus, both Zentrum Fyeor and the cacodemon could move around inside it.

Without hesitation, the cacodemon punched the primordial spirit.

Speedily, Zentrum Fyeor unleashed its primordial spirit seal.

Boom!

Unable to defend against that attack, the cacodemon was blasted away and crashed into a wall.

Bam!

The wall cracked while its body was covered in debris.

Zentrum Fyeor remained in its original spot, appearing so stately that anyone looking at it would want to bow before it.

Seconds later, the ground rumbled.

Like a lightning bolt, the cacodemon charged toward Zentrum Fyeo.

Bam!

Instantly, Zentrum Fyeor was sent flying away by that impact.

When it collided with the wall behind it, the wall crumbled instantly. Debris scattered on the ground as clouds of dust filled the air.

As golden light poured out of Zentrum Fyeor, it slowly dissipated, turning into an ethereal, golden mist.

With an icy look in his eyes, Galad gestured a bunch of hand signs as he gathered mana in his mind.

Hastily, he rematerialized Zentrum Fyeor with an immense amount of mana.

The golden mist rapidly clustered together and reformed Zentrum Fyeor.

Then, Galad summoned the primordial spirit on Vananeru's forehead to appear.

With that, two shiny, golden Fyeor stood before the cacodemon and struck the latter with their most potent attacks simultaneously.

The Mitra primordial spirit unleashed the Mitra Seal while Zentrum Fyeor attacked with its primordial spirit seal.

In an instant, a blinding golden light enveloped the room.

Boom!

The cacodemon was once again blasted away by the powerful force.

It flew more than a hundred meters away before crashing into a number of walls. Eventually, it was buried under the rubble.

That blast destroyed almost half of Celestial Sky Monastery and killed countless lamas.

Almost all of them were squashed into meat paste by the cacodemon's body.

It was a very gory scene.

Without delay, Galad stored the two primordial spirits into his forehead and darted toward the cacodemon.

Jonathan, Mabel, and Vananeru followed behind.

At that moment, it was ten in the morning, so the sunlight was getting pretty hot.

A warehouse in Celestial Sky Monastery had collapsed entirely, burying the cacodemon deep under its rubble.

The sun was bright and under the rumble, silence filled the air.

Galad wasn't at ease as he gazed at that pile of rubble coldly.

Everyone knew there was no way the cacodemon would die that easily.

Jonathan and Mabel were also there, staring.

Vananeru, who understood her father well, sensed a change in his emotions for the first time.

Anxiousness bubbled in Galad's heart because the cacodemon had escaped its bind.

It could be said that he was the cause of the cacodemon's demonic energy and hatred.

Thus, if he failed to eliminate the cacodemon, he would be considered a sinner for ages.

“Father,” called Vananeru.

Glancing at her, he warned, “You should back off.”

She nodded, aware that she shouldn't cause her father any distraction.

Only silence was heard beyond Celestial Sky Monastery's premises because the place forbade tourists and outsiders from visiting.

The security there was considered strict.

At that moment, many lamas were standing by around the rubble.

They were all Celestial Sky Sect's elites. Most of their cultivation had reached Neutralizing Force, while a few others had achieved Nascent Soul.

The weather was so hot that sweat covered their foreheads.

The same could be said for Jonathan and Mabel.

Vananeru was already drenched in sweat, which inadvertently caused her body's fragrance to spread in the air.

Suddenly, Galad scowled. I think I know what's going on! The cacodemon is using the opportunity to evolve!

Without delay, he summoned the two primordial spirits.

Zentrum Fyeor and the Mitra primordial spirit promptly materialized, looking like two giants, before stretching their hands out.

They then cleared the rubbles away as though their gigantic hands were excavators.

A minute later, enough debris was removed that everyone could see the cacodemon.

The black creature had curled into a ball and not moving.

Even though it was motionless, everyone could hear its loud heartbeat.

“Trinitarian Divine Sword! Kill it!” Abruptly, Galad pointed in the direction of the cacodemon. In an instant, a snow-white, transparent, gigantic sword appeared and flew toward the creature's neck.

Meanwhile, the Mitra primordial spirit and Zentrum Fyeor smashed their titanic fists downward at the cacodemon.

All three attacks were mighty, and no mortal could've survived that bombardment.

However, just as Trinitarian Divine Sword was about to land a blow on the cacodemon, the creature unhinged its jaw, wrapped its tongue around the blade, and pulled it into its mouth.

After a few moments of chewing, it swallowed the sword.

Concurrently, the Mitra primordial spirit and Zentrum Fyeor landed their attacks on the cacodemon's body.

Almost half of its body sank into the ground as it didn't dodge the attack.

The assault didn't stop there.
