Xander’s phone started to ring as soon as he pulled over at the parking lot of the tall hotel building.

“Nick” was written on the screen of his phone, so he swiped the answer button Immediately and held it to his ear.

“Are you there yet?”

“Yes, boss. Where should I take the car?” Nick’s voice sounded from the other end, and he glanced over to Summer who was still deeply asleep.

The sound of the knock on the car door caught his attention, and a blurry figure was towering over his side mirror when he looked in the direction. Slowly, he wined down the glass, revealing a man in his forties.

He could’ve driven her home from the restaurant, but she needed some rest, so hethought it wise to take her to the nearest hotel which was just down
