“Afraid?” Kenji burst into laughter. It took him a while before he said again, “The Lilith clan holds power in Seechertown. Who do I need to fear? Buddy, you know nothing about this society.”
Wilbur frowned and asked, “Do you mean one of the three prominent families in Seechertown, as rumor has it?”
“Seems like you know a little. That’s right, I’m a member of the Lilith clan. Our clan’s influence spans both politics and business. Tell me, what do I need to fear?” Kenji asked arrogantly.
Wilbur asked, “Do you believe that the Lilith clan is above the Law?”
