A few days later, it was the weekend. Ellie and Aaron were chilling at home.

As evening approached, Aaron said he had something urgent to take care of, so Ellie offered to drop Joanna off at work.

She approached the entrance but was immediately blocked by the two strange men. Ellie took out her phone.

“Mom, wait for me at the supermarket across the street. If I’m not out in five minutes, call the police,” Ellie urged, guiding Joanna across the street before steeling herself and stepping inside the bar alone.
