Chapter 10

The door swung open and Arianna stepped in without knocking, her expression smug and self-assured. "What's this I hear about you looking for Aurora?" she asked, folding her arms across her chest. Fenrir looked at her coolly, his patience thin. "That's none of your concern, Arianna."

She raised an eyebrow, feigning innocence. "I think it is. After all, you chose me over her, didn't you?"

Fenrir ignored her.

Arianna's face twisted with anger. "So you're just going to throw away what we had? All those years we spent together before she showed up?"

Nathan stepped forward, unable to hold back. "This has nothing to do with you, Arianna. Alpha Fenrir's mate is out there, pregnant with his child, a child he didn't even know about because you lied to him." Fenrir's eyes darkened as he looked at Arianna. He recalled every time she had manipulated him, twisted his perception of Aurora, and fueled his doubts. It was clear now that he had been living under a delusion. "Leave," he ordered her, his voice icy. "I have no intention of continuing this conversation."

But Arianna didn't move. She straightened, her voice dripping with bitterness. "You'll regret this, Fenrir."
