Chapter 3238 Garrett's Reflection

The most terrifying realization dawned on Garrett as he sat in the car. The chaos in Montiria was largely due to the actions of the Gloam Division. But what if Gadel's entire plan was based on the turmoil caused by the Gloam Division? Or worse, what if the Gloam Division

was created not to root out Garrett's remaining followers but to lure him into Montiria?

Cold sweat trickled down Garrett's forehead as he thought back to how he had underestimated Gadel, then grew wary, and now, he was filled with fear. Garrett realized that he no longer understood his younger brother, Gadel. He was no longer the same cheerful Prince Gadel who used to smile at everyone.

He shifted uncomfortably in his seat, muttering to himself about how the expensive car was still a piece of junk, making his seat sore.

"How much longer until we reach the dock outside the city?" Garrett's anxious tone made the shifty-eyed driver focus even more on the road. "We'll be there in ten minutes at most, Your Highness," he said.

Alas, both were oblivious to the small black device beneath Garrett's seat emitting a faint red glow.

In the royal palace, Gadel was toying with a black sphere in his hand. Garrett's voice continued to play from the device.

A smile grew on Gadel's face. Oh, brother, why are you in such a hurry to leave when I went to so much trouble to bring you here?

After a moment's thought, Gadel decided not to order a pursuit of Garrett. Instead, he pulled out his phone and dialed the top contact on his list.
