Chapter 2132 Falcon’s Final Duty

“They’re closing in fast!” Falcon growled, glancing over his shoulder as the monstrous Toad King loomed closer. The creature’s sheer speed and unnatural movements sent a chill down his spine. This was no ordinary opponent–Falcon could tell it was at least SS-level, and even he wasn’t confident he could hold him off.

Turning to the rest, he barked, “Protect Her Holiness! Get her out of here! I’ll hold him back!”

“Falcon! Don’t overdo it–save yourself!” Mackenzie exclaimed, a rare flicker of concern in her voice as she turned to him.

Falcon met her gaze, his expression calm but resolute. Something in his eyes had changed. Gone was the rogue from Dark Night Island; in his place stood a man ready to lay everything on the line.

“Heh… Don’t worry about me, Your Holiness. Rhett trusted me to protect you, and I’ll see it through. Otherwise, how could I ever face him?” Falcon replied with a faint smirk.

Without waiting for a response, he waved them off. “Move! Now!”

Mackenzie and her team hadn’t made it far when an ominous voice boomed from above.

“Well, well, the Saintess of the Holy Trinity… You’ve been running long enough. Your blood, your flesh- they’re mine!”

The Toad King descended like a grotesque nightmare, landing with a sickening thud in the snow. His bloated body and slick, warty skin glistened under the pale light. His long tongue flicked hungrily as he set his sights on Mackenzie.

Falcon didn’t hesitate. With a roar; he launched himself at the Toad King, tackling the monstrous figure to the ground. They rolled through the snow in a violent tangle, Falcon grappling to gain the upper hand.

“Falcon!” Mackenzie turned, horror spreading across her face. She thought, That grotesque Toad King is likely covered in poison–how could Falcon be so reckless and bold to fight him head–on like this?

Falcon didn’t look back. He locked his legs around the Toad King’s massive body, hands gripping his neck to snap it. “Toad King of the Five Poison Sect, huh? You think you can take her? Not a chance, you ugly freak! Taking you down will be my gift to the team!”

For a moment, it looked like he might succeed, but Falcon’s expression suddenly shifted–something wasn’t right.

Even Mackenzie felt it, her instincts alerting her, prompting her to ask the others for assistance.

“Retreat! Get out of here–Now! This thing isn’t human Falcon bellowed, panic creeping into his voice.

This guy’s–skeleton… it’s all wrong, Falcon realized, his mind racing. He doesn’t have 206 bones like a normal person–his joints are far fewer, almost unnatural!

His suspicions were confirmed when the Toad King’s head twisted grotesquely, turning nearly backward with an cerie crack. The creature grinned, his voice dripping with mockery. “You’ve got guts, I’ll give you that. Except my mom, no one’s ever dared lay a hand on me and lived to tell about it.”

The Toad King spat a glob of green saliva at Falcon. It slattered across his face, and Falcon’s lock
