26 Announcement

Sabrina POV

Dinner was wonderful and being with Archer feels so natural. When we finish, Gabby is covered in spaghetti sauce and she is ready for bed. I wipe her up the best I can and Archer picks her up from the chair. “Are you tired little one?” “No” she says as she lays her head on his shoulder. “No sleeping yet you need a bath, your covered in spaghetti.” Archer carries her to her room and I take her in my arms. “Can I help you put her to bed?” “Absolutely” I say and turn to head toward the bathroom. “Can you grab me a pair of her pajamas from the drawer while I get the water started.” I take her into the bathroom turning the water on. I set Gabby down on her feet, taking off her dress. Archer hands me her pajamas and heads back out to get her bed ready. Once the tub is full, I give her a quick bath and dress her for bed.

I carry her out and Archer is sitting on the floor by her bed with a book in his hand. This man is too good to be true. He doesn’t just want me, he wants Gabby too. I lay her in the bed and pull the covers up over her. “Gabby, can I read you a story tonight” Archer asks her. “Yes, please” she says, with the biggest smile on her face and sleepy eyes. It doesn’t take long for her to pass out while Archer is reading. “Archer, she’s asleep” I whisper. He stands up and kisses her forehead before I turn on her nightlight.
