27 Never Happen

Archer POV

“Mom, do you think that you could keep Gabby so Brutus can spend sometime with Sabrina?” “Of course, we can find something to keep us occupied.” “Do you want to hang out with Grandma Fern, Gabby” my mother asks. “Yes let’s go.” My mom takes Gabby and I take Sabrina’s hand. “Are you nervous because last time you met Brutus you passed out?” She slaps my arm. “In my defense I had no idea that werewolves existed so I think I’ll be fine this time. We reach the clearing and I start to take off my clothes. This time she doesn’t hide that she is looking at my body. “Love, if you keep looking at me like that I might not be able to stay a gentleman.” She laughs and once I have my clothes off, I shift into Brutus. He stalks toward her and lays at her feet.

Sabrina POV

Gabby isn’t the only one that’s exhausted, but when I finally make it into bed, all I can think about is my conversation with Archer about marking. Why can’t I just take this leap of faith?
