By the time I had packed a bag and made sure my house was secure the weather had dimmed. The wind had calmed, the rain spitting. It was cold and dark. Pulling up my hood I locked my front door shoving my key in my pocket. "So we're going to your moms?". I asked as she tried linking her arm through mine, I pulled back.
