The traveler entered the private room and sat across from the group of men, asking in a hushed tone, “I brought the money. Where’s the merchandise?”

“We brought the merchandise too, but…”

“But what?”

The men exchanged glances, and one of them pulled a backpack from behind, unzipping it and pushing its contents toward the traveler.

The traveler glanced at the backpack’s contents and promptly opened his briefcase. As the lid lifted, neatly arranged bills came into view.

The bills delighted the men, making them unable to contain their joy.

“This is our first collaboration, and we’re all very cautious. Please understand.”

The traveler didn’t bother listening to their nonsense. He immediately started inspecting the goods. Squinting, he began to appreciate the quality of the merchandise. He felt that the wait had been worthwhile.

Suddenly, Logan kicked the door open, holding up his badge, and sternly declared, “Don’t move!”
