Third Person POV

It hadn't even been an hour since the males all left there mates to enjoy the baby shower as they all moved to play a friendly game of hoops. The group consisting of Ares, Eros, Kai, Seth, Sam, Isaac, Ashton, and Brayden. The guys breaking off into teams of four as Ares goes to get a basketball from the utlily closet which held many of their sporting equipment.

"You sure the girls are going to be okay with us not being there" asks Isaac a little concerned about Sophia as something wasn't sitting well with him the moment they parted ways.

"Of course, the girls are totally fine, after all Lucas, Emma and Emily are there and I completely trust my mate to protect them" replies Kai, knowing Lucas would have contacted him the moment something bad happened to them.

"I'm not say that I don't trust Lucas, Kai, it's just I have this terrible feeling sitting in the bottom of my stomach and no matter which way I go, the feeling only gets stronger the longer I'm away from Sophia" remarks Isaac to the Beta, not wanting it to sound like he didn't trust the other Beta but when it came down to his mate he learnt long ago to trust his gut for the last time he didn't it nearly cost him Sophia.

Just then Ares returns with a ball only to see everyone's stoked faces. "Is everything okay?" asks Ares, now concerned for the others within the group.

"Isaac here thinks that something bad is about to happen even though I told him that Lucas, Emma and Emily were each with the Luna and the other girls" remarks Kai as he looks to his fellow Alpha, unsure of how else to explain it to him.

"Hmm, and when did this start happening?" questions Ares as he looks to Isaac.

"The moment we got here, I told Kai that it's nothing against Lucas or the others but when I start getting this terrible feeling within the pit of my stomach it usually means something terrible is about to happen, and I learned a while back not to take it for granted as it nearly cost me Sophia, a story for another day I suppose but let's just say the last time I ignored it, I nearly lost her" replies Isaac with a somber expression the feeling growing.
