Athena's POV

'Artemis?' I whisper, my body slowly coming too, from whatever it was that knocked me out. My mind trying to play catch up as it replayed the event leading up to now. Remembering how I was at my baby shower about to have a nice lunch with Luna Gwen as well as my other friends when I had heard a low howl and the feeling of being watched as I tried to search for the eyes that had been watching me.

'Artemis?' I try again, attempting to project my voice louder in hopes that she would answer me only to realize that during the baby shower, we had been hit with cans of wolfsbane and another substance that I now realize was knockout gas as everything past that became a blur to me.

Wincing, I attempt to move my body only to halt when I'm unable to move my arms. "Huh?" I groan, attempting to move them again only to hear the sound of metal on metal only to then realize my hands were chained to something else and judging by the burning sensation on my wrists the chains where pure silver as they burned into my skin.

Biting my lip I attempt to wiggle my body only to feel something soft beneath me indicating that I was either on a mattress or on some soft rug as I try to move again, the sound of metal hitting metal once again giving me everything I needed to know as I was now chained to a bed and without Artemis I was defenless to protect myself and my babies.

Attempting not to cry I try to remind myself that I've had similar situations like this happen to me before and each time I've endured I've always came out on top except this time my mind was doubting the outcome as I try to push open my eyes only to see that I'm in a dimly lit room.
