Athena's POV

-Next Day-

After spending most of my night trying to all but process everything that I had learned from Artemis I couldn't help but feel blown away. To say that Mother Moon had taken a big step in revealing all of that to Artemis and I had spoken volume.

But why? I mused, curious as to why she, the Moon Goddess, would bestow such a gift to me. To allow Artemis to tell me the outcome of my children and the future of the packs like that.

With more questions than answers I all but try to let it process, for I knew that besides this, there were other matters to address as well. Like Lily. For Lily had unnoticed for a while now and it was time she answered to her crimes.

Lily can't be allowed to live if it means hurting those I love and care for, I think only to hear a knock, my focus now looking towards the person in question. A smile rising as I did.

"Good Morning my love, sleep well?" asks Ares, as he all but moves to approach me.

"I did" I lie, knowing that I hadn't as Artemis simply snorts at me.

"What was that for?' I move to ask her.

'For being you. For not wanting to trust in the things that were bestowed upon us as a gift from the Moon Goddess herself, that's why' snaps Artemis.

Taken aback, I all but blink. Artemis never one to lose her temper like that, least of all me. 'Look, I'm sorry. It was just a lot to take in, okay, can you blame me for not believing?' ...No' answers Artemis.
