Our Luna, Our Mate Chapter 125

Rosalyn's POV

The moment the ExBeta, Brian had spoken those words to me, I instantly knew I was in big trouble. For I was supposed to have been helping Lily that night, but on that night instead I had been forced into helping the Beta female, Diana. As Diana had come looking to me for an enchantment spell, one of many that I was deemed worthy of giving to those who asked.

An enchantment that would make a male fall desperately in love with her and forget the one they were destined to love. An enchantment that I thought was harmless only to now know it was meant to break a sacred mate bond.

For a mate bond that was given by the Goddess herself only made me feel terrible deep within me. Knowing that I had been the cause of it only to be snapped out of my head by Lily. Her voice boardline angry, Shit.

"Why you little homewrecker. I knew you were up to something that night I came to you. I knew you weren't totally innocent" replies Lily, her tone telling me she wanted more information.

Unsure of what to tell her, I move to tell her the first thing that pops to mind. "Lily you know how much I cherish a mate bond. You know all the Witches do, including those of Dragons, Vampires and Fae. Wolves including. It's why we have them and those who don't follow the laws of the mate bond lose their chances at having another."

At the mention of a mates bond, I instantly see Lily's expression change. A look of pure rage now rising as she moves to approach me, claws out which makes fear rise deep within me.

"Did you.. Did you just talk back to me?"

her

"N-No..."

Biting my lip I knew I totally did. Denying my involvement in the enchantment to mentioning the mate bond, that I knew almost

instantly that I was talking back. And it obviously didn't go unnoticed by Lily either.

Because in the next second before I could even react, I instantly felt sharp pain across my face. Lily's claws. For she had dug them right across my face as the warm sensation of blood now oozed along my face. Tears threaten to fall from my amethyst eyes as her claws now catch me across the chest, ripping my irt until I feel her hands around my neck.
