Brad had never taken care of Sean for even a day. It was ironic that a man with no parenting experience was attempting to teach Nadine how to raise her son.

Brad looked at Sean, who was devouring his dessert, and dismissed Nadine's concerns. "He seems fine to me."

All of a sudden, she felt like she had had enough. Nothing she said would get through to Brad anyway. No matter what she said, he'd just insist she was wrong. So, she chose to remain silent.

Brad assumed she had given in and went on to reassure Sean, "Slow down. No one's going to take it from you. If you want seconds, just say so." Noticing that his mom was quiet and his dad was on his side, Sean went ahead and dug into his dessert.

However, reality soon struck both Brad and Sean. When there was almost nothing left of the dessert, Sean abruptly set down his spoon and clutched his stomach. "Daddy, my tummy hurts!"

Brad's face tightened with embarrassment when he heard that Sean was in pain. He immediately reached out to rub the little guy's belly. "Is it hurting here? Let me help you."
