Chapter 37 You Can‘t Always Protect Me

“Mr. Maltz,” Anaya said, “It‘s late at night. It‘s time to say goodbye.”

Joshua took a deep look at Anaya and then looked at Hearst, who had been standing quietly beside Anaya,

Hearst looked so annoying.

Joshua asked in a slightly hoarse voice, “Will he be staying here tonight?”

“It has nothing to do with you,” Anaya said in a cold voice.

Joshua clenched his fists and loosened them again. In the end, le said nothing but pushed open the door and went out of the room

Outside the door, Robin was waiting for liim.

Seeing Joshua out, Robin glanced inside the living room and was surprised to see that Hearst was inside.

Without waiting for him to see clearly, Joshua had already closed the door.

Robin walked to Joshua and asked, “Why is Hearst at Anaya‘s house?”

“I don‘t know.” Joshua felt disturbed, and he answered in a heavy tone.

Robin did not get angry and advised him. “Anaya and Hearst are both single. They‘d better not stay together alone. Why don‘t you go in and get Hearst out as well? Anaya is pretty good. Don‘t be angry and...”

Joshua looked at Robin coldly and said, “Robin, after I divorced Anaya, you seem to have a lot of opinions towards me. Since you like her so much, why don‘t you go after her?”

“Damn!” Robin usually had a good temper. He rarely swore, but recently, he was always angered by Joshua to the point of swearing. “I finally know why Anaya divorced you. With your character, you will be alone forever!”

As soon as Joshua left, Anaya received a call from Silvia.

As soon as she picked the call up, Anaya asked anxiously, “Where are you now?”

“I‘m at the entrance of the police station.”

Silvia‘s voice was a little weak.

“Which police station 1 will find...”

Before Anaya finished her words, Silvia suddenly hung up.

Anaya was confused,

What was going on?

Silvia was originally following the person who saved her into the police station, but when she entered the station, she noticed a familiar figure in the room. It was Bryant.

She immediately stopped in her tracks, as if she was frozen in place, unable to move.
