The scent of pancakes wafted into my nose, rousing me from sleep. The sunlight. streaming through the window hit my eyes, making me groan as I sat up and stretched my body. I looked to my side, and Alpha Kex was nowhere to be found.

I could hear sounds coming from the kitchen, and I got up to investigate. As I walked out of the bedroom, I was hit with the full force of the smell of pancakes, eggs, and bacon. The kitchen was warm and inviting, the sounds of cooking filling the air. I followed my nose to the source of the delicious smells.

There he was, Alpha Kex, wearing an apron and his back to me, standing at the stove. I couldn’t help but admire him, his strong frame, his broad shoulders, his wavy hair, hist scent filling the room.

I felt an urge to go up behind him and wrap my arms around him, but I held myself back. This was new territory for me, and I would rather not make him uncomfortable.

“You know it’s a crime to stare at someone without their permission,” he said, a mischievous glint in his eye.

I felt my cheeks grow red, embarrassed to be caught. “I wasn’t staring at you,” I protested, but my words were weak.

“Then what were you staring at?” he asked, his voice low and seductive.

He moved closer to me, and I felt my breath catch in my throat. My heart was racing, and I could feel my nipples harden beneath my clothes. I knew I should look away, but I couldn’t tear my eyes from his.

He placed a gentle kiss on my forehead. “Good morning,” he said, his voice warm and soothing. He caressed my cheek, his touch sending a shiver through me.

“Good morning, Alpha Kex,” I mumbled, my words still half–asleep.

“Ugh,” he groaned, “stop putting ‘Alpha‘ in front of my name. It’s just Kex.”

I laughed, the sound filling the room. “Fine, Alpha, sorry Kex,” I said, a smile on my
