Chapter 89
Chapter 89.
Nelly’s POV.
“Come with me,” Aisha said, tugging at my arm. “You need to see it by yourself.”
My heart was in my throat as I followed her, my mind spinning with a million thoughts. What could she possibly want to tell me? What was it about Kex? I swallowed hard, trying to push down the panic that was rising in my chest. We walked in silence, the tension between us thick and heavy. Finally, we reached our destination, and Aisha turned to me, her eyes brimming with excitement.
I stood frozen, my mind unable to process what was happening. Aisha’s laughter rang in my cars, but it sounded distant, like I was hearing it through a fog.
My eyes were fixed on Kex, kneeling in front of me with a ring in his hand. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, it felt like a dream. I looked around the room, taking in the walls that were covered in the words.
“Will you marry me, my dearest mate?” I was speechless, tears forming in my eyes. It felt too good to be real, like I was living in a fairytale.
The crowd started to chant, “Say yes! Say yes!” I looked around, feeling overwhelmed by the support of our pack. Aisha smiled at me, wiping away my tears.
“Come on, baby,” she said softly. “Don’t cry.” I took a deep breath and nodded, trying to compose myself. I looked at Kex, who was smiling at me with so much love in his eyes.
“Yes, I want to walk down that path with you,” I said, the words feeling like they were coming from somewhere deep within me. Kex placed the ring on my finger, and I could feel the tears spilling over, my heart overflowing with joy.
Kex pulled me close, his lips finding mine in a passionate kiss. The crowd around us erupted in cheers and laughter, but we were lost in our own little world.
“I love you,” he whispered against my lips, his breath warm and sweet.
“I love you more,” I said, my heart swelling with happiness. Just then, I heard a voice from the
crowd.
“Thank Go d Alpha Astel rejected her,” the voice said. “If not, she wouldn’t have found someone

better.”
I couldn’t help but agree. Astel’s rejection had been painful, but it had led me to this moment. I turned to Kex, my heart brimming with love.
“You’re the best thing that ever happened to me,” I said, a smile spreading across my face. He pulled me into a tight embrace, his lips pressing against my forehead.
“I feel the same way,” he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. “You’re my one and only, my soulmate.”

Chapter 89
“I feel the same way,” he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. “You’re my one and only, my soulmate.”
I closed my eyes, savoring the moment. It was the beginning of our forever, and I couldn’t wait to see what the future held for us.
“Enough of the lovey-dovey stuff,” Aisha said, a grin spreading across her face. “We’ve got a wedding to plan!” I laughed, giving her a mock scowl.
“You scared me earlier,” I teased, my voice a whisper.
“I’m sorry, darling,” she replied, a sheepish smile on her lips. “I didn’t want to ruin the surprise.” I pulled her close, holding her tight.
“Do you remember how it all started?” I asked, my heart full of gratitude. She looked up at me, her eyes shining.
“Of course I do. Who..,” but she didn’t finish when we were interrupted. I heard a voice from behind
us.
“Congratulations!” I turned to see Harry, his face beaming with joy.
“Thank you!” I said, giving him a quick hug.
But as I turned back to face Aisha, I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. Astel was standing a few feet away, his hands clenched into fists and his eyes downcast. I couldn’t help but feel a twinge of satisfaction. He had hurt me, and now he was getting a taste of his own medicine.
“Can I steal my mate?” Kex asked, grinning.
“She’s all yours Alpha,” Aisha said bowing her head and we all laughed.
As we walked hand in hand, Kex’s arm wrapped around my waist, I felt his warm breath against my neck.
“You really didn’t have to do all this,” I said, my voice a low whisper.
“It was needed,” he replied, his voice full of conviction. “I want your previous pack to know your status, to value you for who you are.”
I felt a wave of gratitude wash over me. He had done all of this for me, to protect me and to show the world that I was important to him.
“Thank you,” I said, my voice choking with emotion.
We entered our room, and the moment the door closed behind us, Kex’s hands were on me, his lips finding mine in a hungry kiss. I melted into him, my heart beating wildly as his arms wrapped around me. My hands moved over his body, feeling the warmth of his skin and the beat of his heart. His lips were insistent, his tongue seeking mine.
