“Why?” I asked, my gaze piercing. “Like why would Nelly tell you to bring my food to my room?” I asked, my voice growing more impatient.

My jaw clenched, and I felt my face flush with anger. Nelly had never been so angry before, and I couldn’t understand why she would send Aurora to bring my food instead of coming herself.
