Xavier POV

Regan looks stunned as she stands between the both of us, looking at the two of us with displeasure on her face. “Is somebody going to tell me what the hell is going on and what the hell is the matter with you two” she shouted out, her voice carrying across the grounds, “And why I just had to drag the both of you apart when you are brothers and my mates” she added with heavy emphasis and a scowl on her face.

I look pointedly at Xander. I’ve managed to get a few good hits in and I feel nothing but satisfaction as I look at my brother, considering him to be nothing but a traitor: “Tell her Xander” my voice is icy. “Tell your mate, the one you claim to love” I glared at him, “What you intend to do to her and to us?”

Now that he’s facing Regan and looking directly into her eyes, he seems to have lost his confidence or maybe he’s hesitating because he knows how Regan will take the news. Too bad. He should have thought of that before. It’s too late for him to change his mind now. He coughs, blood splattering onto the ground, and Regan winces, a look of sympathy crossing her face. “Come on Xander. It’s a little late to pretend you’re afraid to now. Have the guts to at least tell Regan what you intend to do” I spat out.

He needed to stop being a damn coward and admit his stupid plan. I doubted Regan had any more patience than I did when it came down to it. I wished him luck though. He was going to need it.
