As the sun dipped below the horizon, Sophie was in the middle of packing for her trip back to Devonport when her phone rang. She glanced at the screen and saw an unfamiliar number. Without hesitation, she declined the call. A moment later, the same number buzzed again.

"Sophie, I need to see you! Come to the Dragonvein Hotel now!" barked Sandy's voice, as imperious as ever.
