Sophie and Colby had just dropped Sandy off at the Pollard family home. As soon as they arrived, Sandy spotted Angelo anxiously waiting at the door.

Sandy rushed over. A spark of joy lighted up Angelo's face. He was about to hug her when he noticed Sophie and Colby standing behind her.

His smile froze, and his outstretched arms hung awkwardly in mid-air.
