Jonah stepped aside, clearly letting Sophie pass.

Two bodyguards opened the door to the presidential suite, revealing an empty room except for the sound of water running in the bathroom. Jonah took this as his cue to leave, promptly closing the door behind him.

Sophie instinctively reached for the door, but her eyes were drawn to two cups of steaming coffee on the table.

Had someone else been here just now?

The room was filled with the scent of tobacco, specifically Odie's usual brand of cigars, yet the ashtray on the other side was spotlessly clean. So, the other person didn't smoke?

As Sophie pondered who could have met with Odie, the bathroom door suddenly swung open.

There stood Odie, a towel draped around his neck, loosely wearing a bathrobe. Sophie looked him over without any intention of diverting her gaze.

Odie had wanted to startle Sophie, but seeing that she didn't turn away shyly like other women, but instead scrutinized him closely, made him feel uncomfortable.

He suddenly remembered the last time he took a bath, Sophie had stared at him in the same manner!
