Right Person, Wrong Time

Chapter 683

Nicole furrowed her brows, knowing that Zachary was now blinded by lust. Trembling, she yelled, "Zachary, think about it. If you want me now, I will never ever forgive you!"

He seemed to have reacted a little after hearing her words. The desire that filled his eyes suddenly had a glint of distress, but his body was no longer under the control of his brain. The air was filled with a sweet and greasy smell, causing him to lose himself while his hand moved down along her body.

She struggled, trying to stop his hands from touching her. Nonetheless, a man had greater strength than a woman. Her gown was quickly unzipped, revealing a large patch of fair and smooth skin.

Nicole's eyes were tainted with anxiety. She knew that Zachary had reached the limit of his patience. He then rubbed her cheek with the tip of his nose, and just as he was about to go further, a knock sounded on the door.

"Zachary, Nicole, are you two in there?"

Hearing that it was Harvey's voice, she hurriedly pushed Zachary with all her might and shouted, "Harvey! I'm inside! Zachary is drugged. Come in quickly!" Once she was done calling for help, she felt a warm body attached to her back.

When Harvey heard Nicole's voice, he started twisting the knob fervently, but the door was locked, so there was no way he could open it from the outside. Even as he tugged at the knob, the door wouldn't budge.

She could feel the hot breath Zachary exhaled onto her neck. She quickly shrugged, feeling a quiver all over her body.

Harvey slammed the door anxiously, but it was as if it was made of special material. There was no way he could break into it.

Zachary, who was in the room, was close to going insane. If Nicole didn't leave the room any sooner, it was either she or Zachary would end here.

Though the effects of the drug weren't as strong and domineering as before, he felt a longing for warmth. His patience was gradually worn down by it, which led to his gradual descent into the trap.

Just as he was about to move lower, he heard a rustling sound outside. Soon, Harvey came in with an electric saw. The moment he entered the room, he was attacked by a sweet scent. He tossed the electric saw aside and looked closer at the man and woman on the bed.

Harvey's body turned stiff in an instant. With a hint of embarrassment, he stammered, "D-Did I interrupt you two?"

Nicole propped her arms in front of Zachary with both hands, looked at Harvey's dumbfounded expression, and seethed through gritted teeth, "Come and help me pull him away!"

Rubbing his head in a daze, Harvey even uttered shyly, "Are you sure I'm not interrupting you guys?"

She was utterly speechless at that. Did Harvey know what the hell was happening? Why would he say something like that? Shooting him an icy glare, she scolded, "Did you not realize something is wrong with Zachary?!"
