"Fine. I'll do that if Madeline is truly the murderer," Colton replied.

Benjamin fell into silence after that. Noticing the tension between them, Anna rose to her feet and interrupted, "Colton, I've got something to tell you. Come with me to the study room."

Colton nodded and followed her upstairs.

After the two took their leave, Olivia and Benjamin were the ones left in the living room. Olivia then stated in confusion, "Benjamin, you shouldn't have let him do whatever he wants. Did you forget about our mother's death?"

Ella was hit by the car when the Gardner Corporation had barely found their footing, and Olivia had already married into the Schumacher Family.

Another reason for her not being able to get over Ella's death was that she was pregnant around that time. However, Ella's death caused a huge blow to her, and she lost her child due to overcoming the grievance.
