Nicole didn't move an inch. Instead, she remained firmly on the couch as she poured herself a cup of tea and began to sip it slowly.

Her expression was calm and indifferent even after learning the news.

Hayden merely nodded and remained silent without asking any further.

After seeing that Hayden had understood what she meant, Nicole then left the room. She lowered her head and stared at her phone for a while before finally dialing the number she had blocked.

Meanwhile, Colton saw his phone notifying him that he had a call from Nicole. He simply let out a faint smile, as if unsurprised by such a phone call.

He looked at his phone and decided not to answer the call. Instead, he went into the washroom and washed his face.

Realizing her first call had gone unanswered, Nicole called again.

As she heard the phone getting connected, she got extremely gloomy as she waited for the other party to answer.
