Hayden didn't get to the bottom of this either. After pondering for a moment, he suggested, "Let's go to the zoo."

"Okay," Colton replied, a fond smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

Hayden's face reddened slightly after he finished his sentence. Looking up at the man with watery eyes, he asked in a whisper, "Dad, I want to take a pee. Where is the restroom in your office?"

Seeing his burning cheeks, Colton let out a laugh and picked up the boy in his arms. He stood up, saying, "I'll take you there." Before leaving the room, he darted a look at the two other people in the room, saying meaningfully, "You two have a nice chat."

After leaving the room, Hayden obediently clung to Colton's chest, asking, "Is my mom really the Wrenn Family's daughter?" He had never doubted Nicole's identity before, so he had never looked into it. He only insisted on dragging Nicole along today because Colton had called him yesterday and explained everything to him.

"Uh-huh. The results of the DNA paternity test have come out, and your mom and Siobhan are confirmed to be mother and daughter," Colton replied.

Gabriel hadn't agreed to do the DNA paternity test previously. As time went on, however, he eventually gave in and got his hands on Siobhan's hair sample. The answer was then confirmed via an urgent DNA paternity test.

"Doesn't that make me a grandson of the Wrenn Family, then?" Hayden asked curiously.

Colton's deep and husky voice was dripping with fondness. "Not only are you a grandson of the Wrenn Family, but you're also a descendant of both the Goulds and the Gardners." He was very satisfied with this son of his. Hayden displayed outstanding intelligence at an early age and could understand almost everything instantly, which made him a suitable successor.

"I'll be the apple of everyone's eye, then," Hayden replied with a smile.

Colton gently poked the boy's nose with his finger. He said, "You'll always be the apple of my eye."

After the man and the boy had left, Gabriel and Nicole were the only ones left in the big room.

Nicole and Gabriel weren't close as they had only met twice before. Still, if what Ms. Betty said is true, then the person before me will be my full brother. At the thought of this, she couldn't help but look up at him.

Gabriel happened to turn his gaze toward her as well. The instant their eyes met, Nicole looked away in embarrassment.

Taking the opportunity, Gabriel asked, "How have you been over the last few years?"
