Gabriel's eyes lowered slightly; at this very moment, he was somewhat at a loss for words. After a long time, he finally asked, "Do you love Colton?"

Nicole's lips curled into a smirk. As expected, he's worried about his sister. An inexplicable sadness crept over her. If I hadn't been swapped at birth back then, would Gabriel side with me now? However, she could only think to herself about these things. She raised her eyes and explained, "Please don't get the wrong idea, Mr. Wrenn. I'll never show up in front of President Gardner after he marries your sister. That being said, Hayden is indeed his son, and I can't stop a son's desire to see his father. However, I can promise you not to see President Gardner anymore." She pursed her lips. After pondering for a moment, she added, "I'll leave the country once the wedding is over, so I certainly won't disturb them."

He stared at her with imperturbable eyes.

She was puzzled by his stare. Could I have said something wrong? After a moment's thought, she said tentatively, "Mr. Wrenn, I—"

Before she could finish her sentence, Gabriel cut her short with a wave of his hand, saying, "That's not what I mean."

Looking at the man in puzzlement, Nicole saw him slowly taking a file of papers out of his bag. She had seen the format of these papers before. After all, she had obtained these papers while looking for her son's father.

These papers were the results of a DNA paternity test.

Gabriel handed the file to her. He said softly, "Here are the results of the DNA paternity test done on you and my mother."

Nicole's heart shuddered; she looked at the file, her eyelids trembling. Maintaining her composure with all her might, she finally asked, "W-What do you mean, Mr. Wrenn?"

He continued to hold out the file to her. "I mean it literally. Miss Anderson, you can open the file and take a look."

She was confused. Now that the answer to all her previous doubts was right before her, she was rather unsure of what to do. Looking down at the file cover, she clutched the file tightly with her fingers. Then, after taking a deep breath, she slowly opened the file.

It was clearly stated on the file that she was confirmed to be Siobhan's daughter.

Although Nicole had surmised this before, she was nonetheless left at a loss by the answer laid before her at this very moment. After a long time, she slowly came to her senses, and a bitter smile played on her lips. Looking up at Gabriel, she gently placed the file on the desk.

Gabriel stared at her with a hint of scrutiny in his dark eyes.

Nicole felt her throat dry. A few moments later, she asked slowly, "When was this done?"

"Just a moment ago," Gabriel answered.

Nicole asked, "So you're here today because you have something else to talk to me about, Mr. Wrenn?"

A helpless smile hovered on Gabriel's lips. He muttered a response, saying, "You're my biological sister."

Nicole lowered her eyes. She had more or less guessed this already, though she had never dared to talk about this before. And now, the conclusive proof was right before her. So, I'm indeed Siobhan's daughter. How laughable. "Mm-hmm." There was no change in her expression; instead, she looked totally unfazed.

Gabriel looked at her, asking, "Nicole, have you ever thought of returning to the Wrenn Family?"
