Colton didn't intend to hide the truth, so he announced on stage, "Thank you, everyone, for coming to Nicole and my engagement ceremony. This is our son, biological son, and he will be the next successor of Gardner Corporation."

Just like that, he revealed Hayden's identity with just a few simple sentences.

Nicole was surprised that Colton had announced Hayden as his successor.

"Hayden is my son, and he's smart. Once he grows up, I'll let him take over Gardner Corporation, and we'll go on a trip around the world."

Meanwhile, Colton didn't say anything else and led Nicole and Hayden down the stage after he finished his announcement.

Zachary sat below the stage and watched the engagement ceremony with a gloomy face. His hands were slightly clenched, and his expression was as dark as storm clouds.

He turned sideways and was prepared to leave when the woman called out his name.

"Zachary Yates?"

Zachary stopped walking. His face looked expressionless, and his eyes seemed cold, but due to courtesy, he didn't choose to ignore the woman. Instead, he asked, albeit coldly, "What do you want?"

Sasha smiled while walking toward Zachary with a raised eyebrow. "I know you. You're the president of Yates Group. Half a year ago, you decisively changed Yates Group entirely. What a good plan of action that was."

Meanwhile, Zachary remained expressionless. Indeed, he had fired all the main staff at Yates Group after taking over, but that wasn't a secret because anyone could find out about it if they looked a little into him.

But what was this woman trying to say?

Zachary stared at her and said nothing. His whole body was releasing an eerie cold aura.
