Right Person, Wrong Time

Chapter 930

When Colton came into the massage room, he noticed that the woman in the bathtub had her eyes closed with her head tilted as she slept soundly.

He had been waiting in the bedroom for about 30 minutes, and she didn't come out, so he only decided to come in to check on her. It turned out that she had fallen asleep.

Luckily, the bathtub had a self-heating function to keep the water warm enough to not let Nicole catch a cold.

Seeing her balled up and sleeping from exhaustion, Colton stood in front of the bathtub and helplessly chuckled.

Even though the water was slightly murky from the medicinal herbs with soothing properties added to it, he could still clearly see the curves of her exquisite body.

He had to admit that he was a beast because he couldn't help but stare hard at the sensual silhouette in the water.

However, he needed to keep himself from going crazy on her since they had just done the deed last night. Disregarding how wet he could get, he lowered his torso and picked up the woman in the water. With a towel he grabbed from the side, he wrapped her up nicely.

He then carried her back to the bed. Nicole, whose brain was still foggy with drowsiness, felt herself being picked up by someone.

She forced herself to open her eyes slightly. When she suddenly saw the zoomed-in figure right in front of her, her heart skipped a beat. Instinctively, she lowered her head to take a look at her body which, to her relief, was clothed.

"W-What... I…" She could only sputter incoherent words as she flushed red.

Colton continued to walk calmly, and he only spoke after he had brought her to her room.

"You fell asleep in the bath."

Nicole immediately pulled the blanket beside her over and covered her body with it. She had turned red in her ears from embarrassment as she tightly grabbed the hem of the blanket with both hands.

He took me out of the bathtub, so means that he saw me in all my naked glory!

"Couldn't you wake me up?" she hissed.

He squinted and smiled softly. "Doesn't matter now. Not like I haven't seen anything anyway."

"Get out!" She didn't want to talk to him anymore.

Seeing her bashfully shrinking under the blanket, Colton couldn't help but chuckle. He then teased her. "Well, yeah, there is not one part of your body that I haven't seen. What are you getting all shy about?"

Nicole chose to keep quiet and ignore him.

Colton didn't continue to make fun of her. "Dry your hair and sleep." He then left after tossing a towel at her.

She stayed at his house the whole week. Her body recovered quickly, and she practically regained her energy and mobility by day three. The mark on her neck, however, took its time to disappear. It wasn't completely gone even after a week had gone by.
