That day, Nathan and Penny stealthily made their way toward Brimmopolis with Cross Group's team of cancer medication researchers.

It was already afternoon by the time they arrived at Brimmopolis.

After arranging for the researchers to stay at the Headquarters of the Chief Military Governor, Nathan and Penny quickly headed over to the White House.

It wasn't long before Nathan saw Garrett lying in bed with his pajamas on.

His guards were right by his side and cautiously feeding him his medicine.

Garrett, who was feeling lethargic at the time, got a little better when he saw Nathan come in.

"Nathan? When did you return to Brimmopolis? Why didn't anyone tell me about this in advance?" he exclaimed in surprise.

Garrett was about to push his guards aside and get off the bed, but Nathan quickly stepped forward to stop him.

Nathan then took the medicine over from the guards and sat down beside the bed. "I came rushing over as soon as I heard you weren't feeling well, Garrett. You shouldn't be getting out of bed until you're all better. Here, I'll feed you your medicine."

Garrett waved at him. "I don't like this herbal medicine from the royal physicians. It's too bitter, and besides... They call it traditional conservative treatment, which just means there's no cure for what I have." "What are you saying, Garrett? Not only do your wife and children need you, but so does all of Eurasia!" Nathan exclaimed.

Despite Garrett's calm demeanor, there was a hint of sadness deep within his eyes when he sighed.
