Garrett nodded. "I suppose sixty is a high enough number."

The look on his face turned serious as he continued, "All right, enough talk about my condition. Now, let us discuss work. Nathan, in the event that I do not survive this, who do you think should take over my place as president?"

Nathan frowned. "I don't think you should be saying this if you're planning on getting treated. Besides, I'm not the person you should talk to regarding who takes over your place." "Well, that's exactly what I'm doing, and I want to hear your suggestion!" Garrett retorted.

"Come on, Garrett!" Nathan protested.

"I know there's a chance of me getting treated, but what if it fails? Someone has to take over when that happens!" Garrett said.

Seeing as Garrett was serious about it, Nathan fell silent for a moment before saying, “Zion Lucas has been working in the Cabinet for many years. Given his experience, I'd say he's a great candidate." Garrett gave it some thought but dismissed his suggestion moments later. "Zion may be experienced, but he lacks charisma and leadership. I think he's better off being a secretary for the Cabinet than the president."

Nathan then listed out a few other candidates, most of them being the Great Cabinet members. He also recommended one of the twentyeight ministers.
