Anya said, "Chad, Chunky's one of us."

Chunky jumped in, always quick with a joke, "Right? Leo, you had me prepping a wedding gift last night, and now I'm suddenly an outsider? Fine, I'm docking a thousand off your gift."

Anya couldn't help but laugh.

In the parking lot, Anya slipped into the back seat while Leo got behind the wheel. "Let's drop Anya at her office first, then we'll cruise around and check out the area. Getting to the studio by ten is plenty of time," Leo said.

As they drove, Anya glanced at Chad. "Hey, last night you said Mr. Miles was coming by the company. What's he doing at your studio anyway?"

Leo shrugged it off, "He's just a friend, coming by for some tea and a chat, nothing special."

Chunky nodded along. "Yeah, just a little chit-chat, that's all.”

Anya let it go, and twenty minutes later they pulled up to an office building.

She grabbed her purse and hopped out. "Chad, I'm off. See you! And remember

to get some rest at lunch, or you'll run out of steam."

After watching Anya head inside, Leo circled the block once with Chunky, checking out the traffic and making sure the place felt safe and convenient. Satisfied, Leo finally headed to the studio.
