Sweet Revenge

Chapter 132

Chapter 132 I did it all for you
“Are you sure, the formula is okay?”
Ladarius’ voice was still a little hoarse, even when he opened his mouth, his throat was sore and he had little strength to speak
Although he was still not looking at her, his gaze was in the opposite direction, for Vivienne it was a silent compromise on his part.
“Well, actually, last night, we were there to debug the recipe, we just didn’t want a lot of people around, so that’s why …” she explained again in passing
Her explanation, however, fell on Ladarius’ ears with an extra sting
He had already tried not to think about it, but when she mentioned last night” and “we”, the
image stimulated every cell in lus brain and made hinn furious.
Taking a few deep breaths and clenching his fists hard, he gritted his back teeth, “Don’t mention last night to me!”
Vivienne sat down slowly on the side of his bed, looked at the side of his face and said, “Originally, I didn’t want you to be hurt like this. But now that you know, I’ll just tell you the truth.”
“Yes, I slept with him, but you can’t deny that it was you, always you and only you, that I loved!”
She said, “Between him and me, it was just a deal. And this deal is not just for me alone.”
“Ha, ha, ha…”laughing out loud, because the movement was so wide that it pulled the wound and
shook the injured ribs where they hurt, he laughed out loud and burst into tears, “So, you slept with him, for me?
And I have you to thank for sleeping with him?!”
He turned his head and smiled at her, only his eyes were full of mockery and anger.
Vivienne’s face was flat, “If you think it makes me happy to mock like that, whatever.”
“What I’m trying to say to you is that whether you accept it or not, admit it or not, I’m really doing this for you, for our future.” She said one word, with a seriousness that almost made Ladarius think that she was taking a sacred vow.
“Vivienne, I’ve never found you so eloquent!”
“You can blame me all you like!” She said faintly, “but where were you when I was out there being aggravated and bullied? Where were you when I was all alone at the San Francisco tasting? Where the hell were you when I was being stomped and humiliated by Silvia?!”
“And who made the last recipe problem happen and who helped you fix it?
Wasn’t there any benefit to the company or to you this time? You only know how to blame me, have
you ever thought about why I did it?
Don’t I want to be a wealthy wife, just shopping, doing beauty treatments and bringing up the kids every day? Who forced me into this path?
She became more and more agitated and by the end of her sentence she was filled with righteous
anger
Ladarius’ eyes flashed with surprise, “So, you blame me?”
Wiping a tear from the corner of her eye, Vivienne took a breath and said,
“I’m not blarning you, I’m just saying that you didn’t want this to happen and I didn’t want to do it! If it wasn’t necessary, how would…”
“Ladarius, from the time I met you in college and fell in love with you,
I just had one heart for you and it has never changed until now. If it wasn’t for love of you, how could I put up with you shushing Silvia in front of me, if it wasn’t for you, how could I be willing to be your underground lover, these years, my dedication to you, you are not invisible. Vivienne, I’ve done anything wrong!”
She slowly stood up and looked down at him with a proud expression, “Finally I want to say that this has happened, if you can’t accept it, there’s nothing I can do. If not, let’s break up!”
With that, she walked straight out of the ward.
Silvia and Winnie had finished their lunch and had almost finished talking about their trip.
They were both surprisingly united in their desire to see the sea, but for slightly different reasons.
Although Winnie was a native of the plains, had never seen the sea before and was eager to see it, Silvia wanted to go for inspiration.
She had been there before, but perhaps because she was young and perhaps because it was a bit old, her memory wasn’t very clear, it was a blur of blue, so perhaps there would be something new when she got there
Once the location was decided, it was a matter of applying to Simion for a time and depending on
Stella’s availability, bul overall it was no problem.
After all this, there was a short silence.
Winnie played with her phone for a while, suddenly looked up at her and asked the question that
Get Bonus
had been on her mind a few times, “Did you know that Playboy was hospitalised in a car accident?”
“Yeah, I saw the news.”
She and Winnie were on the phone at the time and froze for a moment.
If the TV hadn’t been so precise about it being V.L’s ceo, she would have thought it was some guy with the same name.
That Ladarius guy, not to mention everything else, was very careful with his driving.
He was a very life conscious person, but anything that involved danger, or that he would feel in danger, would not be done.
But from the few shots on the television, the scene of the crash was a mess, with debris all over the place and big trees all broken and if the news had said at the time that he had died on the spot, she
reckoned it wouldn’t even have been in doubt.
“What retribution!” She slapped the table with her hand to express her excitement, “How do you think he had a car accident for good reason? I read online that there were no people on the road at that time of day and hardly any cars, the road was so wide and he wasn’t driving drunk or anything, so how did he run into that tree?”
Silvia didn’t know as many details as she did and now that she was listening, it was even more
perverse.
“What do you think?” Winnie asked.
“What do I think? This whole thing has nothing to do with me.” She had a look of lack of interest on her face.
It was impossible to say that she hadn’t felt any ups and downs, after all, she had known him for so long and had once given her true feelings, but since the day she found out about his betrayal and the
tangles, the lawsuits and the upside-down slander thrown at her, all those feelings had long since
been worn away.
Besides, he’d only been in a car accident and hadn’t died, so there was nothing to get emotional
about.
Winnie however was much more concerned than she was, “It’s not that it’s okay to have a
relationship, it’s, don’t you think it’s evil?”
“What’s evil?”
“It seems like you really don’t care!” Sighing, Winnie said,
“According to the follow-up investigation related to this, he wasn’t driving drunk, he didn’t use prohibited drugs and he was the only one in the car, so don’t you think, there was … that thing in the
car?”
“???” Lifting his head, he looked at her with a bewildered expression.
“Hey!” Winnie looked around and suddenly raised a hand to her mouth, leaned forward and whispered, “It’s the … dirty thing!”
Silvia: ”
