Allison bit her lip, trying to keep her voice steady. “After cleaning upstairs, I came down to find Mr. Lindberg making a call… After Mr. Lindberg left, I went to tidy up the balcony If you suspect I hid the ring there, feel free to go search.”
She was gambling, gambling that all Wendy saw was her coming out from the balcony.

Lucian glanced at her, this woman was smart, tactfully distancing herself from hirn while making him her alibi.
Sure enough, as soon as Allison finished speaking, all eyes fell on Lucian.
Lucian slowly said, “I was taking a call on the balcony, and I did see her.”

Penelope’s words were basically an accusation, a direct verdict of her crime.
This was Penelope’s premeditated trap!

Lean angrily said. “Allison, you dare deny it! You stole from us when we were kids, even took my bracelet. I let it slide because of your circumstances, but this ring is Lucian and Penelope’s engagement ring, it’s very valuable. How could you think of stealing it!”
Allison’s fists clenched, her body trembling, and she was helpless.
