Chapter 262

At Jesse’s birthday bash, his parents from the Santos clan and a few relatives were there, along with his best buds.

After chowing down dinner and downing some booze, Daisy found her shoulder a comly place to lean on for Allison

She eyed Allison’s long and graceful neck, dressed in a beige velvet dress with a little V–neck and a simple necklace to go with it.

Daisy let out a belch and said, “Allison, why aren’t you wearing the necklace I got you on your birthday?”

Feeling a bit guilty, Allison replied, “Daisy, I can’t seem to find that necklace”

She reckoned it might have been left behind during her move. She had turned her room upside down but the agate necklace was nowhere to be found. She planned to swing by her old place in the next few days, to see if she could find it.

“Oh, you lost it? No worries, I’ll get you a new one.” Daisy said.

“No need to go through all that trouble.” Allison said.

“No biggie, you know. Our family business is all about jewelry, we have plenty of materials. I’ll get the factory to whip up a new one exactly like it for you.” Daisy said.

Allison excused herself to the restroom. Coming out, she bumped into a young bloke in a black shirt, reeking of booze.
