James felt a surge of both relief and determination. "Then what are we waiting for?" he said, his voice laced with purpose. "Let's bring her home."

The hospital corridors were eerily silent as Janet Grey strode through them, her heels clicking against the linoleum floors. Her eyes were narrowed with purpose as she approached the room where she knew Stella was recovering.
