After resting at home for a few days, Avery felt that she was almost fully recovered and wanted to return to work.

Being at home for so long made her extremely bored.

Although our company doesn't have explicit rules on whether employees can have children out of wedlock, Trident Group is still an internationally renowned brand, and reputation is our most important asset. An employee who is unmarried and pregnant clearly has moral issues, which will affect the company's reputation. What's wrong with me wanting to maintain the company's good reputation?”

Cecelia glared at her and said, “Ms. Yantz, what do you mean by that? Is it bothering you that I'm pregnant out of wedlock? Are you feeding me or providing me with a roof over my head? Why do you care so much?”
