Zeke was completely taken off guard by his sister’s demand. As far as he knew, Luisa and Thal***a had been getting along well for the past three weeks. He’d even thought they were friends, so where was this sudden decision coming from?
“Luisa, what did you say?” he prompted, thinking he might have heard wrong the first time.
“You heard me, Zeke. I want that woman out of this house.”
“But why? What happened?” Zeke blinked in confusion.
